What is the ethos of the College?


We are proud to embrace the Benedictine tradition of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan which places strong emphasis on education and the importance of balance in life between work, prayer and recreation. Every Good Samaritan student will be encouraged to live and uphold Catholic values and – without exception – be compassionate and tolerant.

Enrolment applications are open throughout the school year. We encourage you to complete an online application​ today. Applications are currently being accepted for 2023 - 2025​​.


Where is the College located?


The 11.56 hectares campus is located in Parklakes 2, on Parklakes Drive, Bli Bli.

A short drive from the new Maroochydore CBD and five minutes drive from the Bli Bli shopping precinct, the campus is easily accessible from the Bruce Highway. Parklakes 2 comprises family homes surrounded by 20 hectares of forest with nature trails, floating wetlands, two child care centres and a sports complex.

What Years can I apply for?


The College opened in 2019 with Prep to Year 3 in Primary and Year 7 in Secondary, and will eventual grow to 1500 students. ​The size of the College will grow year-on-year as students move to upper Year levels. By 2024 the College will have students in all year levels from Prep - Year 12.


When can my child begin Prep?


It is compulsory for all Queensland children to undertake a full-time Prep year, prior to Year 1. To enrol in Prep your child must turn 5 by 30 June in the year of attendance in Prep.


Do I need to be Catholic?​

You – and your child - do not need to be Catholic to attend Good Samaritan Catholic College.

Enrolment applications may be made, regardless of your faith background. Children who are baptised Catholic are given priority of enrolment. Catholic families outside our Parish, and non-Catholics who support the ethos of an inclusive and community-centric education, are warmly welcomed to our community.

Our C​ollege joins the Brisbane Catholic Education community of Sunshine Coast Catholic schools, including St Joseph’s Primary School and St John’s College in Nambour, Siena Catholic Primary School and Siena College in Sippy Downs, Stella Maris Primary School in Maroochydore, St Thomas More Catholic Primary School located in Sunshine Beach and St Teresa's Catholic College, Noosaville. We always strive to ensure a Catholic education is as affordable as possible, help families when needed and offer significant discounts for more than one child.
