Blessed with a compassionate team, we will be united in our dedication to excellence in teaching and caring for your child. A Catholic education truly encourages individual excellence, whatever your child’s talents may be. And our college will offer a seamless transition from Prep, through to Year 12.
We promise to bring out the best in your child; to give them the space to develop their spirituality, to encourage them to understand and celebrate difference, and to be kind to others.
We are proud to embrace the Benedictine tradition of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan which places strong emphasis on education and the importance of balance in life between work, prayer and recreation. Every Good Samaritan student will be encouraged to live and uphold Catholic values and – without exception – be compassionate and tolerant.

We will open the college in 2019 with Prep to Year 3 in Primary and Year 7 in Secondary, eventually growing to 1500 students. Regardless of your child’s age, we encourage you to register your interest, as other Years will be considered if there is sufficient interest.
It is compulsory for all Queensland children to undertake a full-time Prep year, prior to Year 1. To enrol in Prep your child must turn 5 by 30 June in the year of attendance in Prep.
You – and your child - do not need to be Catholic to attend Good Samaritan Catholic College.
Enrolment applications may be made, regardless of your faith background. Children who are baptised Catholic are given priority of enrolment. Catholic families outside our Parish, and non-Catholics who support the ethos of an inclusive and community-centric education, are warmly welcomed to our community.
College fees will be determined in mid-2018. Our college joins the Brisbane Catholic Education community of Sunshine Coast Catholic schools, including St Joseph’s Primary School and St John’s College in Nambour, Siena College in Sippy Downs and Stella Maris Primary School in Maroochydore. We always strive to ensure a Catholic education is as affordable as possible, help families when needed and offer significant discounts for more than one child.
Archdiocesan Catholic Schools equip over 72,000 students from the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and the Gold Coast with the foundations of life-long learning skills and values to positively contribute to community life. Good Samaritan College belongs to a network of over 140 schools. This allows us to achieve significant economies of scale in many areas and delivers an excellent education at an accessible price point. And of course, a Catholic education is underpinned by values that set your child on the path to become a socially aware and compassionate adult.
