The Assistant Principal - Wellbeing and Engagement is a member of the College Leadership Team with responsibility for fostering a safe, supportive, and high-expectation learning environment across Prep to Year 12. This role leads the College's implementation of various student engagement and wellbeing programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment to the College's Vision, Mission, and Values. The position plays a pivotal role in building capacity among staff, supporting students, and partnering with families to ensure every student can flourish.

In this position you will be responsible for:
  • Provide strategic leadership in student wellbeing, student behaviour and engagement using data (e.g. Tell Them from Me, Student Resilience Survey, Engage Analytics) to provide an informed, proactive and evidence-based response
  • Lead the P-12 College Wellbeing programs (e.g. The Resilience Project) including the co-ordination of curriculum alignment, and coordination
  • Lead the Years 7-12 Pastoral Leaders, The Resilience Project Ambassadors, and guide them in their implementation of the The Resilience Project
  • Oversee the implementation of the College Student Wellbeing, Engagement and Learning Teams based on the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework
  • Lead the College Behaviour Support program and initiatives, the College Behaviour Support Team and the overall development, implementation, and monitoring of consistent and effective PB4L
  • Strengthen teacher effectiveness and embed proactive approaches to student engagement and learning
  • Behavioural and Classroom Interventions: Lead the team responsible for the design, coordination, and evaluation of behavioural and classroom interventions, ensuring responses are timely, targeted, and effective
  • Pastoral Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support the College Pastoral Leaders in their work of student and staff support. Drive consistency in pastoral care and student engagement practices across the College
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders regarding student wellbeing and engagement across the College including Support Teachers - Inclusive Education, Guidance Counsellors, relevant BCE supporting education officers, fostering shared responsibility and collaborative problem-solving
  • Community and Staff Engagement: Build strong partnerships with parents, caregivers, and staff to support effective understanding and implementation of interventions. Promote transparent and consistent communication that strengthens home-school collaboration
  • ​Leadership Team Contribution: Work as part of the College Leadership Team to model and embed Catholic values, inspire a culture of care, connection, and excellence, and contribute to whole-of-College leadership​

School Officer (Upper Primary)

In this position you will be responsible for:
  • ​​Assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs for students including the use technology and learning support activities.
  • Monitoring the progress of students and identifying learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Improving student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services.
  • Documenting observation notes, intervention programs and assist in the collation and preparation of classroom materials.

School Officer (Enrolment​​​​​)​

The School Officer (Enrolment) plays a vital role in growing and sustaining the College community.​

In this position you will be responsible for: 
  • ​​Serve as the first point of contact for prospective families, providing a warm and welcoming introduction to the College and guiding them through their initial enquirie​s and visits.
  • Oversee the entire enrolment process, including responding to enrolment enquiries, managing applications and documentation.
  • Coordinating interviews with prospective families
  • Plan and coordinate key enrolment events such as Open Days, Orientation Days, and Transition Days.
  • Ensure every family feels supported and valued throughout their enrolment journey.
  • Manage enrolment-related marketing and advertising.
  • Oversee school uniform development and distribution.
  • ​Promote the College as a professional, caring, and future-focused learning community through strong communication and organisational skills.​

Salary: $42.67 - $51.96 + Super (School Salary Scale)

School Officer (Compliance, Finance, & Safety)

The School Officer (Compliance, Finance, & Safety) plays a critical role in ensuring the College operates safely, responsibly, and in line with all regulatory requirements. This role oversees safety functions such as developing and reviewing risk assessments, monitoring hazard reporting, and ensuring mandatory reporting obligations are met. In addition, the officer supports compliance processes by managing mandatory requirements and preparing for audits, ensuring the College maintains the highest standards of accountability.
 
The finance functions of the role include receipting payments, supporting families through payment plan management, and overseeing debt management processes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can balance the responsibilities of safeguarding compliance, maintaining financial integrity, and fostering a safe and supportive environment for all members of the College community.

In this position you will also be responsible for:
  • Overseeing the development, maintenance, and operations of relevant systems and administrative resources and recommending improvements to processes and procedures
  • Coordinating general day to day administrative tasks, monitoring workloads, promoting teamwork, skill development, and a sense of pride in the school
  • Developing and interpreting legislation, regulations, procedures and other guideline material relating to administrative operations within the school
  • Preparing and maintaining procurement activities, including overseeing budget administration, and activities
  • ​Marketing and promoting administrative services, coordinating programs that are responsive to the school requirements and current trends.
