Primary Paint and Play
The Primary Paint and Play program is a thoughtfully designed co-curricular initiative aimed for students from Prep to Year 2, providing a vibrant a platform for exploring creativity through painting and playful activities. This program seeks to cultivate artistic expression while fostering collaboration and a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Students will engage in interactive workshops that experiment with painting techniques, large group projects and a glow show exhibition. This program encourages students to use their imagination and spontaneity to enhance their creative process, realise their artistic vision and celebrate their artistic accomplishments with friends, families and the school community.
Junior Arts
Junior Arts is for students in Years 3,4 and 5. We will be working on a range of fun projects ranging from drawing and painting to print making and ceramics.
Art Club
Art Club welcomes students in Years 6-12. Through a variety of engaging activities students can discover their unique artistic talents and develop a deep appreciation and confidence in their art making.
Clay Club
Clay Club is open to students in Years 7-12 who are interested in developing their skills in ceramics. Students will have the opportunity to learn a variety of wheel throwing and hand building techniques in a small group. Students who wish to take part are asked to sign up and commit to weekly attendance.
Art Immersion Program
We are excited to announce the commencement of the Art Immersion program in 2025, available to students in Years 6 to 12. This initiative focuses on term projects that enhance students' skills in various artistic disciplines, including sculpture, street art, glassworks and resin art.
Students will have the opportunity to enrol each term and participate in immersive experiences designed to foster creativity and encourage the exploration of new artistic techniques. Additionally, participants will have the chance to enter art competitions, showcase their work in art exhibitions, and connect with the community by displaying their work in local medical centres and aged care homes. We look forward to supporting our students in their artistic development through this engaging program.
