​​We are pleased to share that Good Samaritan Catholic College has been successful in securing Block Grant Authority (BGA) funding to support the next stage of our growth.

This significant investment reflects our ongoing commitment to providing safe, modern, and inspiring learning environments for every student and staff member.

As the Sunshine Coast continues to grow, we remain dedicated to meeting the needs of our community by offering high-quality Catholic education here in Bli Bli. With the support of the BGA, our Stage 5 Building Project will deliver a new Health Hub, additional secondary classrooms, expanded library space, and enhanced learning support areas. We will also continue to improve our facilities with additional administration spaces and new covered lunch areas across the College.

These upgrades will strengthen our ability to deliver excellent teaching and learning opportunities, while supporting the holistic development of all students.

College Principal, Mr Lee Elvy, said "Our Stage 5 buildings will transform learning at Good Samaritan with two cutting-edge new facilities. The Year 7 Transition Precinct creates a supportive space for students to thrive from day one of secondary schooling. The new Health Hub will provide our senior students with hands-on access to health and medical pathways through leading university and industry partnerships."

The Queensland Catholic Schools Block Grant Authority (BGA) plays a vital role in assisting schools to create facilities that foster educational excellence and equity. Through this funding, schools can design, construct, and activate new or refurbished learning spaces that directly benefit students and staff.
