Our talented Dance and Acrobatics Troupes recently took the stage at the Sunshine Coast Dance Eisteddfod, and we are thrilled to share that Good Samaritan Catholic College placed in every section they competed in!
From our youngest performers in Year 2 to our senior students, the passion, discipline, and energy displayed was truly inspiring. Each performance showcased not only technical excellence but also the strong team spirit and creative expression that defines our
Performing Arts program.
Our troupes achieved fantastic placements across all sections:
- Primary Dance (Yrs 2–6): Multiple top 5 placements in Jazz, Hip Hop & Contemporary
- Primary Ignite Acrobatics: 1st and 5th place
- Junior Secondary Dance: 2nd in Hip Hop, plus top 5 in Jazz and Lyrical
- Xtreme Acrobatics: 4th and 5th place
- Senior Dance: Top 5 in Hip Hop and Lyrical, plus a Very Highly Commended in Jazz
A huge congratulations to all the students and teachers involved in preparing, rehearsing, and performing. Your dedication and creativity were evident in every routine. We’d also like to extend a special thank you to Ms. Davis for capturing these beautiful moments on video — a wonderful keepsake of an unforgettable experience!
